Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities
- Manage departmental teams to ensure quality assurance to the highest level of customer service is offered across the venue to our clientele every visit
- Oversee the overall ambience and maintenance of the venue’s facilities, the sounds, the smells, cleanliness and atmosphere, ensuring our quality standards are exceeded constantly
- Handle floats daily across Gaming, TAB, Food and Beverage departments
- Facilitate daily operational checklists
- Oversee Purchasing division
- Effectively manage relationships and ways of working with key suppliers to ensure continuous improvement in sales and cost of goods to meet business requirements
- Administer supplier Contract negotiations and thereafter on going Contract Management
- Responsible for ensuring latest trend products are available to our clientele
- Handle ticketing and venue bookings
- Lead company training policies and procedures
- Stand tall and proud of our company branding and philosophies
- Measure and collect data from advertising and promotional campaigns and events
- Meet applicable deadlines as set out by the business.
- Passionate about building and influencing Culture Management
Qualifications & experience
- Common sense
- Minimum 5 years industry management experience
- Proven experience leading, managing, motivating and driving department teams from 2 – 50 members
- Excellent knowledge with BPOS point of sale system or similar, BOS portal, System One or similar Gaming cashier systems. Excellent knowledge with TAB operating system
- Computer literacy skills - we strive for paper free. Must have Microsoft office skill set, in particular, Outlook, One Note, Word and Excel
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to cope with multiple demands of phones, emails, schedules and operational systems
- Valid National Police Certificate
- Well-presented with a high level of professionalism
- Hold a current Gaming license, RSG and RSA certificates.
