We have an exciting opportunity for an Account Manager to join the Queanbeyan team . Reporting to the State Sales Manager NSW, the role will draw on your sales skills and experience in building relationships with customers and delivering outstanding sales results.
The key responsibilities of the role will include:
- Growing and maintaining existing accounts by building rapport with account customers
- Coordinating the sales effort by working with internal staff and external clients
- Delivering on sale budgets and targets through continuous improvement on sales performance
- Making telephone calls and in-person visits and presentations as required
- Managing customer complaints and implementing fixes to avoid future issues.
- Providing comprehensive knowledge on Dowell products by staying up to date
- Participating in trade shows and conventions as required.
A successful candidate for this role will have:
- Previous experience in selling products within the building materials market (preferable)
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to think outside the box and problem solve
- Ability to work autonomously and in a team
- A positive attitude towards change and new challenges
- A willingness to learn a new skill
- An open, honest and authentic approach in your dealings
