TEMPUR Sealy International Inc. is the world’s largest bedding provider. The company develops, manufactures, and markets mattresses, adjustable bases, pillows and other sleep and relaxation products. TEMPUR Australia Pty Ltd is a subsidiary of TEMPUR-Sealy International. Based in Carrum Downs, Victoria, our Australian division is responsible for the marketing, sales, and distribution of our products to leading bedding retailers. 

As a member of the TEMPUR Australia team, your job is to continuously look for ways to optimise results and improve performance by demanding standards of excellence in all areas. Through this, you will ensure the Company’s sales and profits are achieved and surpassed, in line with the Company’s targets. This is a hugely exciting challenge and opportunity. Purpose of your role 

  • To manage and build strong working relationships with the retail and specialist customers.
  • Ensure the Retail area reaches the agreed business targets.
  • Implement sales and marketing initiatives which develop new and existing business, maximising each outlets opportunity.
  • Act as an escalation point for our retail customers in the event of any issues, responding promptly and accurately and keeping them in the loop at all times.
  • Promote stock and marketing offers to maximize sales growth.
  • Maintain accurate stock records, including stock information which is used to generate re-stocking orders with retailers.     
  • Train and motivate the sales staff.
  • Prospect and open agreed new accounts.
  • Identify and promote opportunities to increase sales.
  • Increase turnover and profitability.

  • Uphold the principles of accountability, ownership, authenticity, and communication within TEMPUR Australia and with your colleagues.
  • Treat internal customers according to the same service standards as external customers.
  • Understand the business objectives of the company and ensure your actions are in line with this.
