The Role: A newly created position is available for a dynamic and motivated professional to focus on industrial chemical sales, particularly targeting the mining and industrial sectors. This Account Manager role offers an excellent opportunity for someone with 1-2 years of experience looking to advance their career. The role is based in Brisbane.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage key accounts through joint business planning
- Identify, evaluate, acquire, and maximize new business opportunities and sales growth
- Utilize analytical tools and data systems to gain insights and develop customer strategies
- Build strong customer partnerships to unlock new opportunities and increase profitability
Candidate Requirements:
- Proven experience in industrial chemical sales, ideally within the mining or broader industrial sectors ideal, although open to entry level applicants
- 1-2 years of sales experience in a similar role ideal
- Chemical engineering, chemistry, Science or Metallurgy degree ideal
- Existing contacts within the industrial chemicals or mining sectors are highly desirable
- Enthusiastic with a strong work ethic
- Passionate about the industry and aligns with the client's culture
- High-level business acumen and ability to develop new business
- Excellent presentation, organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Experience in developing sales strategies and managing large accounts
