We have an exciting opportunity for an exciting opportunity for a client-focused Account Manager to manage their own portfolio of clients, in a dynamic team. You will be speaking to senior executives including company directors, finance directors, procurement managers, facilities managers, and CEOs.
You will be trained in traditional and new energy products, in how the energy industry works and what clients value. You will receive full support from your manager, the Head of Account Management, and other people in the leadership team.
The successful candidate must be a highly motivated individual who is able to engage on the phone with senior stakeholders. You will truly care about providing clients with the best possible solutions as well as helping to grow our portfolio of clients.
Qualifications & experience
- Background B2B Account Management experience (highly desirable but not essential)
- Proficient Microsoft Office suite and familiar with CRM systems
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Strong team player with excellent attention to detail
- Passionate about providing clients with the best possible experience, as well as growing your portfolio.
- Highly motivated individual who is engaging on the phone with clients.
- Flexible and adaptable with a willingness to learn and improve on processes.
- Account Manager – mid weight Account Manager with 4 years+ experience
- Tenacious – ability to overcome objections, achievement oriented.
- Ability to build relationships with clients at senior levels.
- Professional and approachable phone manner
- Self-motivated, energetic, and articulate
- Energy market experience is a bonus.
- Liaising positively and effectively with other teams in the company
- Attending and contributing to team meetings
Tasks & responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of small to medium clients.
- Multi-tasking to effectively serve a high volume of clients.
- Converting leads into opportunities.
- Providing exceptional client service
- Writing proposals to renew client contracts.
- Efficient and timely client responses to enquiries and issues
- Maintaining product knowledge
- Sending out and following up on marketing campaigns
- Analysing current client information to identify new cross-sell opportunities.
- Liaising positively and effectively with other teams in the company
- Attending and contributing to team meetings
