Job tasks and responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
- Outbound phone calls
- Identifying new sales opportunities with current Optus customers
- Building and nurturing relationships
- Developing and maintaining a full sales pipeline
- Presenting offers
- Meeting and exceeding sales targets and KPIs each month
- Continuously improving product knowledge and sales skills
- Being an advocate of the Optus brand
Skills and experience
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate or have the following:
- Previous experience in telesales or appointment setting
- Excellent communication negotiation skills
- Customer centric mindset
- Ability to build rapport with business clients and maintain an ongoing relationship
- Strong business acumen (advantageous)
- Must be self-driven/motivated, punctual, honest, and reliable
- Extremely energetic with impeccable time management skills
- Previous Optus or other Telco experience would be considered an advantage but not essential
