Accountant

Acu-tech is a market leader in pipeline solutions and is seeking a full-time Accountant for it’s nation-wide operations, to be based in its Perth office.  The primary purpose of this position is assisting in the efficient operating of the business by analyzing financial data, reporting and preparing financial statements  .

 Tasks include the following:

• Create accurate and comprehensive financial statements and company tax returns.
• Provide sound and up to date financial and taxation advise
• Develop financial reports and present it to the board of directors and other relevant stakeholders.
• Review, investigate and provide timely insights on operating costs and company income and expenses
• Collaborate closely with team members to optimize accounting procedures and augment productivity.
• Provide support for audits and collaborate with auditors to ensure seamless audit procedures.
• Participate in annual budget formulation and planning.
• Provide support to accounts payable and supplier management
• Provide support to accounts receivable and reconciliations

To be successful in the role, you will need:

•         Accounting or relevant qualification
•         Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an accounting or relevant role
•         Strong communication and collaboration skills
•         Be a team player with a can do attitude
