An Accountant is currently required in a full-time capacity for our Client in Tamworth who are a national specialist equipment provider, supplying to the Forestry, Construction, Utilities and Rail Industries.

- Prepare and process nominated month end journals and reconciliations
- Actively work with Business Unit Managers on the management of their financial results and forecasts
- Timely review of Business Unit variances to budget
- Working with the Financial Controller, maintain and report daily on cash flow and maintain a robust forecast of incoming and outgoing cash requirements
- Resolution of queries relating to accounting processes as directed
- Assistance with monthly management and board pack reporting
- Assistance with budget and forecast preparation
- Collation of yearly FBT data
- Review of Payroll Tax and BAS Submission data
- Assistance with Machine Stock Forward Planning and International Freight Management
- Ad Hoc Analysis and Reporting as required
- Ability to cover activities/tasks of other roles in the finance and administration team during periods of leave
- Accounting/Commerce Degree
- Minimum 3 years prior experience in an Accounting Role
- Excellent communication skills and experience working with non-financial managers and staff to understand and communicate financial information and requirements
- Strong Commercial Acumen
- Strong working knowledge of excel (pivot tables, formulas etc)
- Demonstrated experience working with fully integrated finance/ERP systems
