About the role
This role is part of the St Vincent’s Lismore nine-person Finance Team, reporting directly to the Finance Manager.
In this role you will maintain accurate financial records and data analysis to meet deadline-driven reporting and regulatory requirements. Your accounting duties and responsibilities will be diverse and will include but not be limited to:
- Preparing month end accounting, month end accruals and adjusting entries
- Preparing financial/management reports on a monthly/quarterly basis, including analytical review to inform strategic financial decisions
- Reconciling balance sheet accounts including reviewing and resolving issues
- Preparing BAS/FBT & PAYG lodgements & reconciliations
- Assisting with annual financial reports and liaising with internal & external auditors
- Assisting with organisational budgets and forecasting
This is a permanent, part-time role (3 to 4 days/week) based on our St Vincent’s Lismore campus in Lismore.

Your skills & experience
- Business or Commerce degree, majoring in Accounting
- CA/CPA qualifications, or working towards completing
- 3 years accounting experience, with commercial and/or management accounting experience being highly desirable
- Demonstrated ability to expertly navigate Finance systems and streamline business processes
- Proven analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Capacity to work independently and as part of a team to achieve outstanding results.
