Permanent Full-Time (35 hours per week) The role: The Senior Finance Accountant will undertake financial accounting and reporting activities to assist Council to meet its statutory reporting requirements plus, maintain general and works order ledgers. The role will also undertake and assist in the coordination and production of budgets for the Delivery and Operational Plan and manage Council's portfolio, online banking and bank reconciliations. Working closely with the Manager of Finance we are looking for a highly motivated individual aspiring to take the next step in their career, and build on their high level financial and people management skills. We are looking for someone with high attention to detail and demonstrated experience in undertaking financial analysis and reconciliation activities. Demonstrated experience of online banking systems, integrated financial systems and the ability to prepare details financial reports is essential, as well as having excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
