Are you a highly motivated and skilled individual with comprehensive public practice experience? My client is seeking an Accountant to join their team and take on the responsibility of executing client assignments and projects to the highest standard while maintaining positive relationships with clients and fellow team members. Reporting to the Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the growth of the newly established Canberra office of the largest independent professional services firm in regional New South Wales.

Your new role

What you'll need to succeed 

You'll bring with you 2+ years of comprehensive public practice experience, partnered with a passion for supporting clients in the diverse Agribusiness sector and the ability to:

• Prepare year-end financial statements and tax returns to the final draft stage for review
• Review monthly or quarterly management reports and assist with clients' cashbook queries
• Assist in preparing client cash-flow budget templates and tax plans for annual review
• Adhere to the Firm's Standards and Quality Control Manual in all tasks
• Act as a buddy for new team members and maintain strong organisational skills to efficiently manage the working day
• Be proactive in identifying client matters and issues, bringing them to the attention of the Manage
