Balanced Beans is an award winning Accounting and Bookkeeping practice in the Hunter Valley. We operate virtually using the latest tech to bring tailored solution to our clients' varied financial needs. We service a broad range of industries from trades, professionals and NDIS providers providing bookkeeping, payroll, BAS, virtual CFO and tax and accountancy. We pride ourselves on our community support, our reputation, our experience and investment in our personal development. Please note you are required to work from our Hunter Valley Office at Rutherford once a fortnight.
Qualifications & experience
- Undertaking formal qualifications in accounting
- Xero Certified and Xero Payroll Certified or be willing to undertake
- Experience with Xero and office365 is essential while XPM, Practice Protect, Suitefiles are highly regarded
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to communicate with a multitude of stakeholders and foster relationships
- Must be proactive and willing to create solutions to our growing needs and the needs of our clients
- Experience within the NDIS sector and SCHADS award highly regarded
Tasks & responsibilities
- Prepare tax returns and financial statements for small to medium sized businesses
- Prepare monthly and quarterly activity statements
- Act as a point of contact for clients
- Support our bookkeeping and payroll functions as required
- Preparation of Reports and workpapers with the support of the directors
- Support Director in ad hoc duties to support client's needs and business growth
