Accountant

JOB PURPOSE/POSITION DESCRIPTION:

• Accounting & Reporting for all Australian companies in the EE Group
• Business support to Project, Development & Asset management departments.
• Accounts payable. 
• Coordination of tasks and topics in cooperation with Finance Manager
• Cooperation with external Accounting/tax advisor

AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY / TASKS:

• Accounting & reporting for Australian companies in EE Group
• Daily bookkeeping and bank payment processing
• Financial reconciliation of all accounts
• Period End closing tasks.
• GST, Tax and other local filings
• Cooperation with finance colleagues, auditors, and internal departments
• Optimizations of tasks and processes
• Supporting on new company setup

STAKEHOLDERS:

Internal/External, communications

• Local TAX and other authorities
• Local accounting/tax advisors
• Departments in EE
• Finance HQ

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Several years of similar experience within Accounting and Finance 
• Degree in Accounting or Finance
• Profound skills in accounting,
• Good analytical skills
• Values delivering timely and accurately with high quality.
• Is well organized and has a thorough and structured way of working.
• Can work independently with minimum supervision.
• Preferably experience in ERP systems (Navision Dynamics and Hyperion).
