Accountant (Ecommerce - Fashion)

Hello Molly seeking a talented and experienced finance professional to join our Accounts team. This is a great opportunity to work with one of Australia’s fastest-growing eCommerce businesses, based in Alexandria. 

About The Role:

• Analyse business drivers such as revenue, costs, asset and liability growth
• Enhance the budget process and financial performance monitoring
• Perform financial planning and forecasting
• Oversee Accounts Receivables and Payables, as well as company Payroll
• Continuously improve Hello Molly’s financial policies and procedures
• Ensure compliance with technical accounting and regulatory requirements
• Maintain a high level of financial control and risk awareness
• Monitor the latest accounting and financial developments within Australia and overseas to determine their impact on Hello Molly
• Provide comprehensive accounting reports to the leadership team

The perfect candidate will have:

• Fluency in both English and Mandarin (Please only apply for this role is you are Mandarin speaking) 
• 3+ years experience in a similar role, experience in eCommerce and or fashion retailer operating as an accounts team member is a must 
• A tertiary degree in Accounting or similarly relevant discipline
• Strong technical skills, particularly with MS Office (you must live and breathe Excel)
• Experience using Xero and other accounting software
