Reporting to the Finance Manager, we are looking for a candidate with the experience and flexibility to work closely with our Accounts teams based in Sydney and Manila. Your qualifications, administrative experience, excellent communication skills and ability to multi-task will be keys to your success.
The ideal candidate will be a real team player and have experience and understanding of physical and ecommerce retail business operations.
This role requires an accountant with experience in:
- Managing end-to-end accounting processes
- Balance sheet accounts reconciliations
- Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
- Month-end journals and reconciliations
- Inventory and cash tender reconciliations
- Preparation of financial reports
- Other ad hoc duties as required
We are looking for an accountant with:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in finance and accounting - CA/CPA qualified
- 3+ years of experience in a commercial setting, retailer preferable
- Experience with Pronto (or an equivalent ERP) would be advantageous
- Strong, well developed Excel skills
- Effective communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Initiative to manage and prioritise tasks
- Great interpersonal skills, able to work in a team environment, build and foster strong relationships
