Full-Time 6 Month Contact - Accountant & Practice Manager
Drexler Litigation Lawyers, based in Auburn, is currently in search of a skilled and ambitious individual to join our team as an Office Manager/Accountant for a 6-month contract.
In this hands-on position, you will play a key role in the day-to-day operations of the office, providing administrative support to our legal professionals. Your responsibilities will include:
- Supervising billing, timekeeping, and financial reporting
- Managing employee records
- Handling the processing and submission of:
- Business Activity Statements
- Payroll Tax
- Monthly Superannuation contributions
- Fortnightly payroll processing
- Oversight of the Trust Account & Trust Audit
- Maintaining client records and managing databases
- Managing Accounts Payable & Receivable
- Collaborating with external IT support
- Handling banking activities
- General office management to ensure a professional, efficient, and sustainable work environment.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in legal practice management, particularly in trust accounting, office/facility management, and HR tasks. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are a must, along with exceptional time management abilities to effectively prioritize daily tasks.
Proficiency in Leap Legal Software and MYOB AccountRight will be necessary for this role.
