Our firm is located on the Far South Coast of NSW in the gorgeous Bega Valley. Our offices span from the beach to the bush and service a varied client base across our range of divisions - including Tax and Accounting, Audit, Superannuation and Financial Planning. Our position available
The position will have the following responsibilities:
- Manage a team of around 7 accountants, responsible for a diverse portfolio of clients and their respective accounting and taxation requirements
- Coordination, monitoring and reviewing of BAS & IAS preparation, payroll and superannuation reconciliation, income tax return and financial statement preparation
- Deliver high level client service, including tax planning, software training and business service advice.
This position is for an experienced accountant who strives for exceptional client service and a happy and cohesive working team. This person will have proven ability to consistently deliver – even when under pressure. This role is aimed at an accountant looking for career progression in a Chartered Accounting environment, with an opportunity for firm equity participation for the right candidate. Time working as a public practice tax accountant is desirable, but not essential.
Our ideal candidate will have:
- Attention to detail, time management and organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
- Will be a self-starter, and not only motivate themselves, but also their team
- Genuinely focused on building a rapport with their clients and their team, striving to deliver an exceptional experience to those around them
- Experience with MYOB, XERO, Quickbooks and Excel software
