Our business is looking for a full-time Accountant who will look after the accounting and finance functions for the business and will be responsible for ensuring robust internal controls and continuous improvement of policies and procedures.

Location: EASTERN CREEK, NSW 2766

Salary range: $70,000 - $85,000 per annum

Role: Full-time

Key responsibilities include:

·       Preparing of financial statements including monthly reporting and P&L, balance sheet and cash flow statements

·       Assisting with financial budgets and forecasting.

·       Managing and executing compliance requirements including but not limited to BAS and other regulatory obligations.

·       Conducting cash flow analysis and appraisal of cash flow statements

·       Evaluating operating costs and advising on working capital opportunities

·       Preparing monthly activity statements and quarterly business activity statements

·       Advising on funds management and investment planning

·       Conducting financial investigations

·       Ensuring compliance with ATO regulations related to record keeping and tax related matters

·       Meeting deadlines related to financial reporting and accuracy of data in financial reports.

·       Assessing tax implications and providing advice to management about business plans and operations

·       Providing financial data and insights to agency management to support strategic decision-making.

·       Ensuring integrity of internal accounting controls

Requirements:

·        At least tertiary qualification in Accounting or Finance

·        Minimum of 2 years practical local experience in similar field

·        Strong knowledge of Australian Accounting standards

·        Solid understanding of key accounting concepts

·        Advanced knowledge of QuickBooks

·        Excellent verbal and written communication skills

·        Analytical mindset

·        Strong MS Excel and Word skills

·        Attention to detail
