A full time permanent position is currently available for Accountants clerk (Major in Accounts Payable) to work within the Accounts Team, you will be required to report to the Senior Accountant and the duties are as follows:-
Objectives of this Role:
- Support the company in optimizing financial transactions and systems by performing reconciliation of payments and customer accounts
- Assist in streamlining and improving the accounts transaction process identifying areas of performance improvement
- Working within the Accounts Payable and Business Systems to process invoices, including setting up suppliers and entering invoices
- Reconciliation of supplier statements and follow up and management of invoice discrepancies supporting the business to ensure resolution.
- Reconciling and processing payments as per the company's payment schedules.
- Assisting the Team with the day-to-day processing required of the department.
- Reconcile Accounts Payable transactions and monitor all payments.
- Research and resolve invoices discrepancies and issues.
- Maintain vendor files and correspond/respond to inquiries.
Skills and Qualifications Requirements:
- At least 1 year’s experience in a similar role
- Strong math, typing, and computer skills
- Excellent communication, research, problem-solving, and time management skills
- High level of accuracy, efficiency, and accountability
- Attention to detail
- Able to work autonomously
- Ability to build relationships with suppliers and internal departments.
