SalaryOur client is a successful and growing family owned furniture business. They started in WA and now operate in NSW and Victoria as well.
They have a need for an experienced Accounts Assistant to correctly process the transactions, reconcile the accounts and to assist and support the Finance Manager.
The main duties are as follows:
- Monitor accounts inbox.
- Data entry
- Match invoices to purchase orders in Cin7 and code and enter invoices into Xero.
- Process employee expense and wellness claims.
- Daily bank reconciliation
- Monthly and fortnightly payroll/ payroll tax/superannuation EOM Journal & Reconciliation.
- Monthly credit card reconciliations and management of receipt software, Dext.
- Other ad hoc duties as required by the Finance Manager and Managing Director
- Assist with any administrative tasks as required by the Finance Manager.
- Collaborate with Accounts Officer to:
- Maintain Registers
- Office stationary and kitchen amenity orders
This is a new position in the finance team and offers an excellent career opportunity as the company is growing. You will be mentored by the Finance Manager who has 30 years of experience.
