Service Manager - Generator Services

.About the company:With over 50 years' experience in the industry our client specialises in installation and maintenance of Energy Solutions within the commercial, industrial, mining, construction and government sectors. They work some of the iconic brands in Australia ensuring power supply interruption doesn't affect their business.About the role:We are currently seeking an experienced Mechanical or Diesel Fitter to lead the service department as a Service Manager focusing on Generator Installations, Repairs & Maintenance.You will ensure a proactive approach is upheld with a client focus at all times.Key Responsibilities for the role:

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the generator service department
• Develop strong customer relationships
• Schedule and coordinate service appointments with clients
• Manage a team of technicians, providing guidance and support
• Develop and implement maintenance and repair strategies for generators
• Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements

Skills and experience:

• Mechanical Engineering or Diesel Fitter qualifications
• Proven experience in generator maintenance and service
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Technical knowledge of various generator types and models
• Strong people skills
