SalaryThis NSW Government agency is looking for a Compliance Officer to come in for a 11 month contract. This position requires the candidate to work, 4 days per week, 10 hours per day and be willing to drive/travel around the state of NSW.About the role
- Drive operational excellence by conducting both covert and overt inspections, managing cases, and preparing meticulous documentation for enforcement actions, including prosecutions.
- Embark on exciting field missions to inspect regulated retailers and smoke-free locations, ensuring strict adherence to legislation.
- Dive into investigations with passion, taking decisive enforcement actions against breaches, all while adhering to established policies and guidelines.

- Ability to manage challenging situations with members of the public, especially during the issuance of Penalty Notices.

- Experience in regulatory and compliance activities, including interpreting legislation.
- Capability to balance work volume and quality effectively despite limited resources.
