Accounts Assistant / Bookkeeper

Permanent Position - Part Time (0.6 FTE)

We are looking for an Accounts Assistant/ Bookkeeper to join our welcoming and vibrant community. 

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Receipting 
• Scheduling direct debits 
• Weekly cash banking. 
• Weekly bank reconciliations 
• Data entry for Accounts Payable.
• Scanning invoices. 
• Processing cost centre transfer via journal.  
• Processing charges onto Family Accounts 
• Generation of Sundry Invoices.
• Monthly credit card statements.
• Adhoc tasks as directed.  

SELECTION CRITERIA

• 3 years’ in a similar role
• General bookkeeping, including Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
• Accurate and advanced keyboard skills 
• Competent with Word, Excel and accounting software
• High level of numeracy skills
• Excellent organisational ability and time management skills
• Demonstrated high level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Demonstrate an innovative, adaptable and team focused approach to your work.
• Ability to multi-task and handle varied requests and prioritise requirements.
• Effective communication skills with the ability to engage with staff at all levels in the College.
