Accounts Assistant with:

Client Details
The client is manufacturing machines and gearboxes with the proven reliability of working under the most extreme conditions. They have been supplying the Australian mining industry with Longwall Shearer Loaders for the underground (coal) mining industry for almost 40 years. Utilising the same technology and manufacturing techniques deployed in mining products, they also design, manufacture, supply and service industrial gearboxes, including wind turbines for the renewable energies sector throughout the World.
Description
The key responsibilities include but are not limited to:-
- Accounts Payable/Receivable Processing
- Bank Reconciliations including Intercompany and maintaining Cash Book
- Preparation and processing of fortnightly payment runs
- Reconciliation of Customer Payments
- Reconciliation of Creditor Statements
- Motor Vehicle Fleet Administration
- Reconciliation and processing of Company Credit Cards & Employee Expenses
- Generate and Supply financial statements and reports as requested/required
- Update spreadsheets on a regular basis
- Issuing, checking and processing timesheets
- Supporting the Finance Team
- End of month processing ensuring deadlines are met including accruals/journals
Location: Braemar
Pay: 65k-72k
Profile
Ideal candidate would have:-
- Experience with accounts software. SAP preferred but not essential
- Intermediate experience with Excel
- Good organisational skills and good attention to detail
- 3+ years of relevant experience in an accounts/finance role
- Proficient in MS Office
