Hayes Metals is currently seeking to employ a Full Time Accounts Clerk to join their small but efficient and friendly team at its Australian Sales and Distribution Office located at South Windsor.
This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Accounts Clerk to build on their career. Duties will include all aspects of accounts payable, accounts receivable and general account bookkeeping. In addition, you will be assisting with telephone reception and various administrative support roles, payroll preparation, preparation of banking and account reconciliations, database management, filing, etc. Some previous HR experience will be an advantage but not essential.
The successful applicant must have clear and fluent communication skills, sound understanding of daily accounting practices, extensive computer skills particularly in the use of MS Word, Excel and Outlook. Further, the applicant is likely to have a minimum 2 years experience in bookkeeping and knowledge of MYOB or similar accounting software program(s).
We are seeking a “hands-on”, autonomous person, willing to take an active role in a small, hard working team. General hours will be 8:00 am to 4:00 pm five days per week. Salary will be commensurate with experience.
