About the role
This role reports to the Chief Financial Officer. It is responsible for accurately completing various tasks, including accountability and all tasks related to Accounts Payable, Amex and VISA expenditure, Expense claims and the related systems and processes, including Fixed Assets and FBT reporting. Occasionally, other accounting tasks may be required to fulfill monthly accounting functions and other administrative duties, such as answering phones and handling accounting inquiries.
In this role, you'll be responsible for a variety of accounting and administrative tasks, including:
- Accounts Payable management and processing on a timely basis, including management of payment runs and cash flow forecasting
- Supplier relationship management, managing supplier enquiries, supplier statement reconciliations and resolving any pricing and invoice discrepancies.
- Amex and VISA card processing and payment
- Expense Claims processing
- Accounting and management of Fixed assets
- Accrual accounting
- FBT reporting
- Management of all Accounts Payable systems and improvements – TRAILD, Prospend
- Supplier Master Data Management – creating new suppliers and maintaining current information and contacts.
- Management of accounts email box
- Answering incoming calls (ad hoc from time to time)
- Other duties as requested by your manager.
To be a great fit, you'll have:
- Minimum 5 Years’ Experience: Demonstrated experience in Accounts Payable, expenses, accruals and fixed assets coding.
- Education: TAFE or University qualifications in bookkeeping.
- Microsoft Excel: Intermediate to advanced skills.
- Excellent Communication Skills

- MYOB Advanced desirable
