About the Role
- Full time (35 hour work week)
- Contract position, maternity leave cover until 23 May 2025
- Based in our Penrith or Chatswood Office
The role of the Accounting Operations Officer is to accurately and efficiently manage the end-to-end workflows for a high volume of financial transactions being processed by the team. This includes processing transactions on a timely basis in alignment with Link Wentworth’s policies and guidelines.
Key areas of responsibility include:
- End to end accounts payable
- End to end accounts receivable
- Credit card transaction processing and reconciliation
- Tenant bond lodgements and reconciliation
- Ensuring that the Accounting Operations team meets necessary
compliance obligations through the collection and reporting of
financial transactions - Issuing of invoices, verification of GST charged, ensuring General Ledger coding is correct and that regular reconciliation is conducted
- Variance investigation
Essential Criteria
- Minimum 2 years, experience in Accounts Payable and/or Accounts Receivable or similar positions.
- Experience with accounting software packages
Desirable Criteria
- Tertiary qualification in accounting and/or administration
- Experience with Dynamics365
- Knowledge or experience of the Community Housing sector
You will also need:
- At least two (2) COVID-19 vaccinations, meaning, having received the primary course of an Australian Government approved COVID-19 vaccination
- Willingness to undergo a National Police Check to Link Wentworth's satisfaction
