Accounts Officer/Admin Assistant

Established in 1959, Neptune Swimming Pools is recognised as being an industry leader and have been successfully trading for over 60 years building inground concrete swimming pools. The business has a residential and commercial division, as well as a service division for their residential clientele
We require the services of an Accounts Officer/Admin Assistant to report to and work under our Financial Controller to assist with the day-to-day processing across multiple entities.
The Responsibilities
The role will consist of the following; however, not exclusive to the following:
- Accounts Payable– processing supplier bills, monthly reconciliations, filing & payments through bank.
- Accounts Receivable – processing invoicing, receipts, and debt collection.
- Job Costing – processing supplier/contractor bills, invoicing clients, timesheets, and job maintenance.
- Payroll – assist with processing weekly timesheets and wages.
- Ad hoc admin office duties as required.
The Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate will have accounts payable and receivable experience and/or bookkeeping experience and be willing to learn other aspects of the job costing and payroll modules.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in accounts payable and receivable and/or bookkeeping role.
- Good knowledge of integrated Accounting Systems.
- Competent in Microsoft Office.
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong written & verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work autonomously.
- Building industry experience favourable.
