Established in 1959, Neptune Swimming Pools is recognised as being an industry leader and have been successfully trading for over 60 years building inground concrete swimming pools. The business has a residential and commercial division, as well as a service division for their residential clientele

We require the services of an Accounts Officer/Admin Assistant to report to and work under our Financial Controller to assist with the day-to-day processing across multiple entities. 

The Responsibilities

The role will consist of the following; however, not exclusive to the following:

• Accounts Payable– processing supplier bills, monthly reconciliations, filing & payments through bank. 
• Accounts Receivable – processing invoicing, receipts, and debt collection. 
• Job Costing – processing supplier/contractor bills, invoicing clients, timesheets, and job maintenance.
• Payroll – assist with processing weekly timesheets and wages.
• Ad hoc admin office duties as required.

The Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate will have accounts payable and receivable experience and/or bookkeeping experience and be willing to learn other aspects of the job costing and payroll modules. 

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in accounts payable and receivable and/or bookkeeping role.
• Good knowledge of integrated Accounting Systems. 
• Competent in Microsoft Office. 
• Accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong written & verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work autonomously.
• Building industry experience favourable.
