About the role

We have a great opportunity for a self-motivated and dedicated Accounts Payable Clerk to join our administration team, based in Cavan. This position will be responsible for ensuring all outstanding accounts are paid on time and in accordance with company procedures. This is a full-time position working Monday-Friday. 

Duties & Responsibilities

• Checking invoices to purchase order, entering and processing supplier invoices.
• Reconciling supplier accounts and statements
• Researching and resolving invoice discrepancies
• Preparing and processing weekly and monthly payment runs
• General administrative duties

Skills & Experience

• Sound computer literacy
• High attention to detail
• Self-motivation and very well organised
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Previous experience in Accounts Payable role favourable but not essential
