We are seeking a driven and suitably experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to work within our dynamic finance team on a permanent part time basis. To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate previous Accounts Payable experience in a similar corporate environment.
What you’ll do:
- Ensure invoices comply with GST legislation
- Creditor account maintenance including updating payment details
- High volume invoice entry including purchase order matching and manual invoices
- Reconcile creditor statements on a monthly basis and resolve any discrepancies prior to month end
- Liaise with employees and volunteers to ensure prompt reimbursement of expenses
- Processing fortnightly payments for at least 400 creditors
- Reconcile and process accurate petty cash claims on a fortnightly basis
- Assist with month end processes to ensure a timely and accurate month end close
- Managing email and phone queries both internally and externally in a timely manner
What you’ll need:
- 2 - 5 years Accounts Payable experience in a large corporate environment
- Knowledge of GST and Tax Invoice requirements
- Ability to interact professionally with internal and external stakeholders
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and high level accuracy when entering data
- Basic to intermediate Excel skills
- Previous experience with Accounting Software (Desirable Microsoft Dynamics GP)
