Two Scots are partnering with a leading not for profit organisation who are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Lead to join their team on a permanent basis. The principal focus of this position is to manage working capital with understanding of commercial documentation as well as to establish and manage relationships with Vendors and Internal stakeholders.

ABOUT THE ROLE.
You will be responsible for:
- Supervise the Accounts Payable functions for the finance department
- Implement and monitor all relevant Finance policies and maintenance of the Accounts Payable sub-ledger systems
- Lead the Accounts Payable daily functions, ensuring efficient, accurate and timely processing of multiple payment methods
- Lead, coach, and mentor the team of 4 Accounts Payable Officers.
- Resolve invoice discrepancies and issues
- Ensures Accounts Payable is closed each month according to the monthly timetable and Year end in accordance with month end/year end processes
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- 2 years + experience working in a similar role
- Experience leading a team of at least 3
- Experince dealing with foreign currencies
- Experience working on various AP projects very beneficial including automation project
- Experince implementing process improvements and with chanage management
- Demonstrated expertise of General Ledger and Accounting processes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate successfully with all areas of the organisation
- Passionate about process improvements and problem-solving
- Ability to lead and coach a team to achieve results
