Our client is an industry leading professional services company who have operated globally for over 70 years.
Following an exciting phase on investment and growth, the organisation is looking to appoint a new Accounts Payable Manager, overseeing all Accounts Payable processes for the Australian business, whilst leading and mentoring a team of 8 Accounts Payable Officers.
This is a full-time permanent opportunity, working for an organisation who offer an inclusive culture, outstanding benefits, and a hybrid work model allowing 3 days working from home each week.

The Role
Reporting to the Shared Services Manager you will be responsible for overseeing all Accounts Payable for the Australian business. This will include:
- Managing and leading an Accounts Payable Team of 8 staff.
- Optimizing processes procedures to ensure accounts are accurately coded and re-distributed in a timely manner.
- Monitoring and analysing aging reports, serving as an escalation point when required.
- Monitoring Accounts Payable workflow queues and allocate resources as needed.
- Meet deadlines for period-ends and ensure accuracy of invoice posting whilst ensuring proper approvals are maintained.
- Providing excellent customer service to vendor and employees
- Reviewing processes and systems to streamline the AP workflow.
- Participating in audits as required
Your Profile
To be successful in this position you will have a minimum 5 years' experience in an Accounts Payable Supervisor / Team Lead capacity. You will be customer focused, structured and process minded, with a passion for operational best practice.
You will be self-motivated, have a proven ability to build rapport with stakeholders, and will be systems savvy with prior experience in ERP systems, and possess an intermediate level of Excel skills.
