Form of workMy client is a leading organisation, home to well known iconic brands with more than 500 stores across Australia and NZ, seeking an Account Payable Manager to join their colloborative finance leadership team.
This role is overseeing a team of 5 Accounts Payable Officers at different levels of experience in a high volume processing environment.
About the role
The duties will include but not limited to
- Managing a team of 5 driven AP Officers
- Process improvement projects/ driving efficiences/ automation
- Work on critical projects across the business
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers
- Procurement - negotiating and maintaining contracts
- Internal and external stakeholder managemen
About you:
- Previous experience leading and mentoring AP teams
- Experience with driving efficiencies, automation or systems implementation projects
- High level stakeholder engagement and relationship building skills
- Ability to be solutions focused and drive productivity
- Detail orientated and diligent
