Accounts Payable Officer

The role

This Government Agency is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join the team on a 4 months contract with possible extensions. The role is based in the CBD.

Responsibilities

• Undertake a range of financial management, purchasing, asset and administration transactional activities
• Maintain accurate computer and manual management information
• Explain rules, procedures and policies to colleagues and stakeholders
• Provide a high level of customer service and assist other staff when required

Required

• Experience working as an Accounts Payable Officer / Finance Officer
• Experience in Government is highly desirable
• Knowledge of Finance / Accounting concepts
• Experience using Oracle - highly regarded
