About the Role:
Our Finance team are currently seeking an Accounts Payable Officer (External Stock) to join our team. This role reports into the Accounts Payable Manager and will involve receiving and processing all invoices.
The responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring all invoices are coded and approved in line with the current procedures.
- Managing and processing payments for external suppliers end of month
- Reconciling supplier statements
- Maintaining good external supplier relationships
- Liaising with store teams and external suppliers and different departments
- Conducting investigations regarding delivery / pricing issues
Raising claims and credit notes for delivery / pricing errors - Running monthly reports and compiling spreadsheets detailing supplier payments
- Assist with ad-hoc requests from the wider finance team
You will have:
- Proven experiences in a high-volume account processing position
- Computer literacy in Microsoft Office Excel, Outlook and Word
- Preferred, but not essential – Experience with AP21
- Microsoft Dynamics NAV experience (formerly Navision)
- Experience and intermediate skills with Microsoft Excel
- Experiencing using AP21 desirable
- A high attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure, working to tight deadlines
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively as part of a team
- Outstanding communication skills
- Exceptional organizational and priority setting skills to be able to work in a fast-paced environment
