They are looking for a reliable and precise professional to help properly maintain and manage the end to end Accounts Payable functions.
Your Role
As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will play a crucial role in the financial operations of the business.
This position will have a direct reporting line to the Finance Manager and will be supported by an experienced team of finance professionals who have demonstrated long-term commitment to the organisation.
Your role will involve:
- Manage end-to-end Accounts Payable
- Checking and verifying invoices
- Compile and verify that timesheets and dockets align with invoices
- Reconcile invoices to supplier statements
- Ensure rates match purchase orders
- Respond to all enquiries in a timely manner
- Raise weekly and monthly payment runs
- Administration Support as required
Your Profile
You will have at least 3 years prior experience in an end - to - end Accounts Payable role. You will pride yourself on your attention to detail and accuracy and have excellent communication skills. You will have a natural sense of urgency and an ability to deliver in tight timeframes. You will have an excellent phone manner and stakeholer engagement skills.
Required Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field would be beneficial but not essential.
- Ideally 3-5 years' experience in Accounts Payable roles.
- Experience within civil engineering would be beneficial
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
