About the Role
As an Accounts Payable Trainee, you will be an integral part of our finance team, learning the ins and outs of Accounts Payable processes, whilst completing a Certificate III in Business. This role is designed for individuals who are eager to develop their skills and grow within the company. You will be provided with full support and mentorship from experienced professionals to ensure your success.
Duties Include
- Engage with customers/suppliers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Follow internal controls and conduct tasks with integrity and confidentiality.
- Review invoices for appropriateness, approval by purchase order and financial delegation, and accurate coding.
- Process invoices.
- Management and maintenance of the Accounts Payable email inbox and all vendor payment enquiries.
- Assist with audit requirements.
- Assist the finance team as required.
