About the Role
Reporting to the Accounts Payable Team Leader, your role as the Accounts Payable Officer will involve high volume and complex Accounts Payable duties and is responsible for providing timely financial support to our client. The key functions of the role are to complete payments and control expenses by processing, verifying and reconciling properly authorised invoices. A primary focus will be to assist the roll out of automation technology across all entities, transitioning to a paperless accounts system.
Duties
Ensure vendor accounts are paid within terms and ensure outstanding invoices are paid
Accurate and timely entry of supplier invoices
Manage reconciliation statements
Schedule payment runs
Run reports and support in end-of-month processes
Skills & Experience
Demonstrated experience processing high volume Accounts Payable with accuracy
A current National Police Check
Experience with MYOB and Microsoft Dynamics desirable
