ABOUT THE ROLE:
As the Accounts, Payroll & Office Administrator, you will hold a pivotal position in maintaining the seamless operation of our business. Your responsibilities will encompass managing accounts payable, processing payroll payments, and providing essential support in office administration. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage accounts payable process, including invoice processing, contractors and supplier communication, and payment scheduling.
- Process payroll payments accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and internal policies.
- Assist with general office administration tasks such as answering phones, responding to emails, filing documents, and maintaining office supplies.
- Provide administrative support to management and other team members as needed.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of efficient accounting and administrative procedures.
- Assist with month-end and year-end financial closing processes as required.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role minimum 2 years, preferably however not essential within the construction or related industry.
- Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and payroll administration (minimum 2 years experience).
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks) and MS Office applications.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
- Ability to prioritise tasks effectively and manage time efficiently.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Knowledge of relevant awards and regulations related to payroll.
