We are currently seeking an Accounts Receivable Officer to join the Finance team at our head office in Perth, Western Australia.
About the role:
The Accounts Receivable Officer will be required to assist with all Accounts Receivable tasks and provide clerical support across the finance team at our busy Morley office. You will look after invoice management, collections, reconciliation and reporting, customer relations, compliance and documentation, and assisting in continuous improvement for your department.
Your day-to-day duties will include:
- Processing of customer claims and rebates.
- Ageing of Receivables.
- Calculating Percentage of Receivables Overdue.
- Minimisation of Bad debt exposure.
About you:
We are looking for a self-motivated individual with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
To be considered for this opportunity, you must have:
- Minimum of 2-3 years of Accounts Receivable experience, ideally in the food manufacturing industry (preferred but not essential).
- Proficiency in using Pronto ERP or similar ERP systems.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy, coupled with excellent time management skills.
- The ability to handle high volumes of transactions and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Desirable but not mandatory: A diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
