Initially based at QT Perth, we are seeking a Accounts Receivable Clerk who will oversee accounts receivable operations across several hotels within the EVT group.
The primary responsibility of the Accounts Receivable role is to ensure the timely and efficient collection and allocation of accounts receivable ledgers, as well as perform payment reconciliations for each property within the cluster.
We are seeking an individual who possesses a passion for hotel finance and accounting, someone who takes pleasure in working with numbers.
Key Responsibilities of the Role
- Perform daily payment reconciliations
- Issue invoices and statements
- Allocate payments to the Accounts Receivable ledgers
- Manage debt collection efforts
- Maintain accurate records of hotel credit accounts
- Conduct daily bank reconciliation
- Ensure daily internal control compliance audit
- Process credit applications
- Provide prompt responses to client and hotel inquiries
- Reconcile Gift Vouchers from Opera and Group 360
Skills & experience
- Thrives in a fast-paced team environment, actively contributes to team efforts, and enjoys working alongside others
- Positive attitude with a focus on continuous learning and development
- Familiarity with Opera PMS or similar systems
- Strong communication skills in English (verbal and written)
- Excellent organisational and time management abilities
- Keen attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Ability to meet deadlines with high attention to detail
