As we continue to expand our services, we are seeking a passionate Exercise Physiologist to join our dynamic team and contribute to the overall health and happiness of our clients in their own home.
About the role:
- Assess, develop, implement and review personalized exercise programs tailored to meet the specific needs and limitations of older individuals
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to integrate safe exercise plans into the overall care and rehabilitation strategies
- Provide education and guidance on maintaining an active lifestyle to both residents and their families as required
- Maintain accurate records of assessments, progress notes, and care plans in line with compliance requirements
- Tertiary qualifications in Clinical Exercise Physiology, with current EESA accreditation
- Demonstrated ability in Exercise Physiology assessment and treatment across a variety of needs
- Previous experience working with or understanding of elderly individuals, their families, and care staff
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to connect with and motivate older adults
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
- Experience working with CHSP and HCP funding preferred but not essential
