Northeast Health Wangaratta (NHW) is the major health provider in the Central Hume region with an extensive range of acute, sub-acute, aged care and community services.
We are seeking applications from experienced Exercise Physiologists to provide best-practice care to patients within Allied Health Community and Cancer & Wellness programs. This is a fantastic opportunity to experience the public health sector, as part of an experienced and collaborative multidisciplinary team. Innovation and service development will be encouraged, and there are many opportunities to expand the role and raise the profile of Exercise Physiology practice within the organisation and community.
The successful applicant will possess strong clinical reasoning skills, and proven capacity to provide holistic, patient-centred exercise, education and health promotion interventions. A high level of enthusiasm for improving health outcomes for patients is essential. The successful applicant will have access to high quality supervision and be supported to participate in ongoing professional development.
