The short story:
We're looking for an Acquisition Marketing Specialist to join our Sydney-based Marketing & CX team!
The Acquisition Marketing Specialist role exists to increase overall market share and share of wallet for existing customers and to optimise our marketing automation and operations processes. This is achieved through various top-of-funnel campaigns and activities for acquisition, growth, and account-based marketing.

You will get to:

  • Create and execute acquisition and upsell/cross-sell campaigns and events (online or face-to-face) that increase overall market share and existing customer share of wallet
  • Partner with Enterprise Sales to drive, develop and deliver account-based marketing programs for agreed target accounts, including running regular reviews
  • Support Sales and Customer Success teams through the development of supportive campaign collateral and sales enablement materials aligned to all acquisition initiatives, including evergreen assets such as competitor insights and battlecards
  • Champion best practice CRM data management and subsequent initiatives to drive progressive profiling and information management between teams
  • Plan and execute on, with guidance from the Brand & Content team, all campaign assets for web, email and social as well as managing the build of dynamic, trackable landing pages and A/B testing emails
  • Execute detailed quality control checks to ensure all campaigns are deployed to a high standard with appropriate tracking in place
  • Support the development of a content strategy including planning and mapping campaign requirements and then collaborating with internal stakeholders to deliver on-time, to a high standard
More about you
  • You have excellent written and verbal communications skills (seriously, great grammar and a positive email tone is imperative!)
  • You have highly developed stakeholder engagement and management skills including the ability to adapt your working style to different people and environments
  • You can juggle multiple projects simultaneously, effectively prioritise tasks and meet deadlines while driving results
  • You have outstanding analytical and reporting skills, working with complex datasets to understand performance, optimise campaigns, drive decision-making and measure outcomes
  • You have demonstrated experience utilising and optimising marketing automation tools including CRM, Google Ads, Google Analytics and paid social
  • You have a track record for developing and executing end-to-end acquisition lead gen marketing campaigns across a range of channels, from planning and execution to post-campaign analysis
  • You take a pragmatic, data-driven approach to campaign development and a strong understanding of the marketing funnel and conversion optimisation
  • You have a minimum 3 years of experience in B2B marketing, ideally within the technology or education sector
