About the role
An Activities Instructor is responsible for the set up, delivery, and close down of recreational-based group activities. This may include, coordinating bus trips, hub-based activities and/or external events which provide a quality experience, fostering social connection and enjoyment.
Success in this role will be represented by the delivery of ongoing activities that establish and maintain positive social and community connections that our clients enjoy and value.
About you
- Experience in instructing group based activities.
- Ability to contribute and support a positive and engaging team environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to follow policies and procedures.
- Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to work, health and safety requirements.
The successful applicant will need (or be willing to obtain):
- Current Driver's Licence and access to a reliable and insured vehicle
- Availability to a Smart Phone
- Working with Children Children Check
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Current First Aid Certificate
The following would be highly regarded:
- Certificate IV in Leisure and Health and/or Certificate IV in Aged Care
- Demonstrated experience in delivering group activities.
