The position will involve the planning and implementation of recreation, leisure and life skill activities for people of all ages and ethnicities.
A passion for positively contributing to the local community, providing support, and building relationships with those from all backgrounds. The Role Responsibilities include but are not limited to: A welfare and engagement role with the ability to develop indoor activity programs based on individual needs and interests Leading structured recreation and leisure activities for adults from cultural and linguistically diverse backgrounds Provide support, needs and risk assessments with the aim of producing tailored programs Experience Required We are seeking applications from candidates who bring: Two years' experience in developing structured activity programs for adults (essential) Strong communication and interpersonal skills essential to communicate effectively with people from various linguistic, cultural and religious backgrounds Qualification in social and community work, learning and development, sports and recreation or associated disciplines (minimum of Certificate lll essential) Coaching or teaching qualifications (preferred)…
