About the Role:As an
Activity Supervisor, you will work within the multi-disciplinary team, providing assistance and support to the Occupational Therapy team to deliver services to the patients of the Inpatient Service.In this role you will work alongside Occupational Therapy to:
- Implement individualised programs of support that are patient-focused and based on individual preferences and sensory needs.
- Plan, facilitate and evaluate group programs based on patient needs and interests.
- Ensure the provision of high-quality allied Health Service that maximises patient health outcomes.
- Support the therapeutic programs as negotiated with the multidisciplinary team where relevant and appropriate.
- Assist in the development of personal independence and autonomy of consumers.
- Contribute towards the development and evaluation of the inpatient ward.
To be eligible for this position, you must hold Certificate 4 in Allied Health Assistance or equivalent.Appointment will be subject to a satisfactory Criminal History Check.Check(s)
- National Police Certificate (NPC) for employment involving unsupervised contact with vulnerable groups required for this position (E.g. aged care employment or work involving vulnerable clients)
