Actuarial Analyst Wi

Suncorp Group are currently seeking an Actuarial Analyst to provide actuarial, analytical, and technical support to the Workers Insurance team based in Brisbane on a permanent full-time basis.
What you'll do:
Support the delivery of actuarial advice to the Workers Insurance team. This will cover valuation of outstanding claims, estimating ultimate claims cost for pricing purposes, monitoring emerging experience and adhoc advice.
Actuarial, analytical and technical support includes:

• Data preparation, validation and analysis;
• Design or assessment of the reasonableness and suitability of models and results prepared;
• Documentation of processes, analysis and investigations undertaken;
• Preparation of reports and presentations to present results.

What you'll bring:

• Knowledge of spreadsheet modelling (Excel) and data extraction (SQL or SAS) preferred but not essential.
• Strong analytical aptitude.
• Work as a team member and communicate effectively (oral & written).
• Can work independently to meet the deliverables.
• Recent Mathematical / Science / Actuarial degree.
• A commitment to pursuing Actuarial Fellowship, as well as on the job learning.
