About the Opportunity
We are currently seeking a Site Security Supervisor based in Netley to play an integral part in managing the day-to-day operations of a fast-paced gatehouse site.

The security team at this location plays an essential role in the safety and security of the site. Being part of this Security team, the duties of the supervisor include overseeing the day-to-day operations and performance of the site, providing visible leadership, direction and issue resolution at the front line and managing a total workforce of 15 officers, managing adequate coverage, leading the training of new officers and any other requests from AG Management or the Client.

Responsibilities of the Role

  • Overseeing the day-to-day security operations
  • Managing shift rosters, including core and ADHOC shifts
  • Providing leadership and operational support to security employees
  • Managing quality systems to ensure compliance
  • Service delivery quality assurance, including auditing and reporting requirements
  • Operate in a gatehouse environment
  • Monitor and operate CCTV cameras & associated equipment
  • Liaising and delivering exceptional customer service to clients, visitors, employees and members of the public
  • Use appropriate methods of communication (e.g., radio, phone, logbooks) to report incidents and issues.
  • Use computer systems, including Email, Word and Excel as required
  • Communicating effectively and working collaboratively with fellow Team Members
  • Compliant with Health and Safety requirements, identifying and reporting all hazards and risks, then responding proactively
  • Following AG Security Group's policies and procedures, work instructions, standard operating procedures and safety requirements

About you
To succeed in this role, we would expect you to have the following credentials, capabilities and qualities including:

  • Previous security management background as a supervisor
  • Experience in managing medium size teams
  • Excellent organisational and leadership skills
  • Current South Australian Security Licence
  • Current South Australian Driver's Licence
  • Current First Aid Certificate HLTAID0003
  • Current National Police Clearance
  • Current Working with Children Check
  • Unrestricted work rights in Australia
  • High attention to detail, organised, reliable and well presented
  • Demonstrating a very high level of integrity and honesty
  • Positive team player and professional attitude
  • Exceptional interpersonal and people skills
  • Experience in delivering high-quality, customer-focused security services to our clients
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
  • High attention to detail
  • Have extensive customer service experience
  • Experience in monitoring and operating CCTV cameras & associated equipment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • The confidence and ability to take ownership of service delivery on site
  • An ability to manage client and employee relationships
