This is a unique opportunity! Acumen is the only rehabilitation service provider to ADF personnel. As an ADF Rehabilitation Consultant at Acumen Health you will work with our Defence force to support their rehab journey:
- take a more holistic care approach & work within a multidisciplinary team to support the journey from rehab to healing
- utilise clinical reasoning skills and expertise to support people who have suffered from a diverse range of injuries, illnesses or trauma.
- work with motivated clients to develop, implement, and monitor their rehabilitation plans whilst having onsite access to medical and treatment providers (Doctors, Physio’s, Psychologist, etc.) for additional direct support

Working from RAAF Williams Laverton, the set working hours means you can truly have WORK / LIFE balance – no overtime, no outside of work hours work. Enjoy a four day week, Monday to Thursday 8am - 4pm.
Joining a high-quality service provider, you will be SUPPORTED and MENTORED through direct interaction and an extensive onboarding process (incl. ongoing shadowing) to build your technical knowledge and expertise, setting you up for success.
What will make you successful:
- Current unrestricted registration/membership (or eligibility for) with the relevant industry body (AHPRA, RCAA/ASORC or ESSA as an E.P)
- Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, Osteopathy, Nursing or Rehabilitation Counselling
- Strong clinical reasoning
- Ability to engage across multidisciplinary teams to support the achievement of a common goal
- Passion to help people rehabilitate
